The Ugreen PB550 Nexode is a 20000mAh power bank with a nylon braided USB-C cable built into the body, tested to more than 10,000 bends and doubling as a carry strap. Both the built in cable and the separate USB-C port deliver up to 67W, enough to take a 14 inch MacBook Pro from flat to 32 percent in 35 minutes, and the same ports accept 65W input to refill the bank.

A USB-A port joins them for three device charging, with pass through support so the bank can power devices while recharging itself. The 21700 lithium ion cells are rated to hold over 80 percent capacity after 500 cycles, and the 72Wh rating keeps it within airline carry on limits.

• 67W on both the cable and the port means either one can charge a laptop, not just the good port.
