How to Request Account Deletion
To request the deletion of your account, email info@techty.com with the following information:

- Full name: The name registered on your account
- Registered email address: The email linked to your Techty account
- Reason for account deletion: A brief explanation, if you wish to provide one
🔹Processing time: Account-deletion requests may take up to 30 days to complete.
🔹Account access: Once your request has been received or processed, you may lose access to your account.
Our team will verify the request and notify you when the account-deletion process has been completed.

What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
Once your Techty account is deleted:
❌ You will no longer be able to log into your Techty account.
❌ Your saved addresses, payment preferences, and account settings will be removed from our active customer records.
❌ You may no longer be able to view your previous orders through your account.
❌ Any account-related benefits or rewards will be removed and cannot be restored.
❌ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be reversed.
Certain transactional information may still be retained where required for legal, financial, warranty, security, or operational purposes.
What Information May Be Retained?
Your right to request account deletion may be subject to legal and operational requirements. Certain information may need to be retained after your account has been deleted.
📌 Shopify Records
As Techty uses Shopify, certain account and transaction-related information, including invoices and payment records, may remain within Shopify’s systems according to its data-retention requirements.
📌 Transaction Records
Order, invoice, payment, delivery, and warranty records may be retained for accounting, tax, audit, warranty, and customer-service purposes.
📌 Legal and Security Requirements
Information may be retained where necessary to comply with applicable laws, prevent fraud, protect our legal rights, or meet financial and regulatory obligations.
📌 Active Orders and Claims
If you have an active order, refund, return, warranty claim, payment dispute, or other unresolved matter, the relevant information may be retained until the matter has been completed.
Important Information
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone.
Should you wish to shop with Techty again after your account has been deleted, you will need to create a new account. Previous account settings, benefits, and preferences cannot be restored.
